Dr. John Kenison grew up in northern New Hampshire and attended the University of New Hampshire where he received a Bachelor degree in Zoology. After studying toward a Masters Degree at UNH he went on to Temple University School of Dentistry, graduating in 1962 with a Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery. The following two years he served as a Captain in the United States Air Force Dental Corp.
In 1964 Dr. Kenison moved, with his wife and two children, to Milford, NH where he opened his private dental practice. Being committed to delivery of the latest advancements in oral health care, Dr. Kenison has completed over a thousand hours of continuing education covering all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry.
He maintains membership in the American Dental Association, NH Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Computerized Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Central New England Dental Research Group. Dr. Kenison also is a member of the American and the International Colleges of Dentistry.
In addition to his dental practice Dr. Kenison has served the dental profession in a number of other capacities. He is a past president of the NH Dental Society and for twenty-five years was President and Chairman of the Board of NH Dental Service Corporation (aka Northeast Delta Dental). He also served for six years on the national board of directors of Delta Dental Plans Association.
